Adelaide Zoo
Home to Wang Wang and Funi, the only giant pandas in the southern hemisphere, the Adelaide Zoo houses over 1800 animals, including 300 exotic mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, invertebrates and fish. Please note, you must book a time slot to be admitted to the giant panda exhibit.
Central Markets
Join thousands of people buying and tasting the best of South Australia at the Adelaide Central Market. The market was established in 1869 and is now the largest undercover market in the southern hemisphere. Nearby Chinatown is great for local produce and authentic Chinese food. Take market day tours on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Glenelg Beach by tram
Ride Adelaide’s historic tram line from the city to Glenelg. Discover South Australia's settlement history at the Bay Discovery Centre. You'll also find a great beach, jetty and lively shops and cafes along Jetty Road.
Haigh's Chocolates
Visit the Haigh's Chocolates Visitor Centre, home of Australia's oldest surviving chocolate-making company and one of only a handful worldwide still making chocolate directly from cocoa beans. Take a free, 20 minute factory tour and check out the heritage displays before getting down to business in the tasting room.
North Terrace

Port Adelaide
Experience South Australia's maritime history at Port Adelaide, just 20 minutes from the CBD. Walking tours are run through the old docks, cruise boats ply the Port River, attracting the local dolphins. If that’s not enough, there’s also the South Australian Maritime Museum, the National Railway Museum and lighthouse to explore.
