The Credit Union Christmas Pageant is full of wonderful, bright and colourful floats to carry Father Christmas and friends along the pageant route.
Every year, brand new floats, large and small, are made in Stardust Castle and added to the parade. Every two years, the pageant organisers and credit unions invite the children of South Australia to get involved in a fantastic competition to design a mini float, with the winning design especially built for the pageant.
2011 was a Design a Mini Float competition year and we received an incredible 343 imaginative ideas.
Congratulations to Sharni Tansell of Woodside Primary School for designing the very clever and fun "Naughty or Nice Meter” which will debut on pageant day. It joins past winning designs: Cupcake Christmas (St Johns Grammar School, 2007) and Rodney the Red Bi-Plane (Owen Area School, 2009).
