The official 2009 Credit Union Christmas Pageant DVD goes on sale today, celebrating Families Sharing Memories, the integral theme of this years event.
The DVD features the entire Channel 9 telecast of the 2009 Credit Union Christmas Pageant. Relive all the magic of the pageant including the fabulous floats, bands, dancing groups, walking performers and hundreds of 265 clowns, time and time again.
The DVD is a joint initiative of Events South Australia, the six sponsoring credit unions and Channel 9 Telethon.
Credit Union Christmas Pageant, Event Manager, Brian Gilbertson says the DVD preserves another year of Pageant memories for people to share.
"The 2009 Credit Union Christmas Pageant DVD makes a perfect stocking filler for Christmas or a uniquely South Australian gift for friends interstate or overseas," says Brian Gilbertson.
Credit Union Pageant Company Chair, Peter Evers, is once again delighted by the partnership with Channel 9 Telethon.
"The DVD is another way the credit unions are supporting a Pageant initiative that keeps on giving to the community, through our commitment to Channel 9 Telethon," says Peter Evers.
The 2009 Credit Union Christmas Pageant DVD can be purchased from any Savings & Loans, Australian Central, Community CPS, Police, Powerstate or Satisfac Credit Union branch.
It can also be bought online at www.telethon.com.au or by calling Channel 9 Telethon on 8267 0206.
The DVD cost $25 plus $5 for postage and handling. Proceeds from the sale of the DVDs will benefit Channel 9 Telethon and the Credit Union Christmas Pageant.
Channel 9 Telethon is the Community Services division of Channel 9 Adelaide. Providing media sponsorship for South Australian charities with more than $1 million in Channel 9 airtime each year, Channel 9 Telethon is dedicated to the promotion of charities' profiles and individual fundraising projects.
The Credit Union Christmas Pageant is owned and managed by the South Australian Tourism Commission on behalf of the South Australian Government and sponsored by six leading credit unions in South Australia - Savings & Loans, Australian Central, Community CPS Australia, Police, Powerstate, and Satisfac.
