Plans for the 2018 Credit Union Christmas Pageant are on track with event naming rights partners, the credit unions looking forward to a memorable event when supporting this year’s spectacular show as they say goodbye after a remarkable 23 year partnership.

In one of the State’s most enduring corporate partnerships, People’s Choice Credit Union, Beyond Bank Australia, Credit Union SA and Police Credit Union will celebrate almost a quarter of a century of involvement in South Australia’s most iconic community event.

Events South Australia, owners and managers of the Pageant, sincerely thanks the credit unions for their outstanding commitment over more than two decades.

“In keeping with their strong community and family values, their enthusiasm and support has never faltered and the Pageant could not have asked for a better partner,” said Ms Hitaf Rasheed, Executive Director, Events South Australia.

“We want to thank the Credit Union Pageant Company and the individual credit unions for an extraordinary partnership spanning more than two decades, working side by side, to deliver the magic of the Pageant to the people of South Australia.”

Robert Keogh, Chair, Credit Union Pageant Company said the Pageant would continue to evolve as a much-loved South Australian icon.

“We have all thoroughly enjoyed the chance to work together and it has been both an honour and privilege to bring the Pageant to the people of South Australia,” said Mr. Robert Keogh, Chair, Credit Union Pageant Company.

“It has been a tremendous team effort and, most importantly, we thank our staff and their families who have devoted countless hours as volunteers to ensure the success of the Pageant year after year.

“Quite simply, it couldn’t have happened without them.”

Both Events South Australia and the credit unions have a long and celebrated working partnership.

“We have all enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Events South Australia and we wish them and the Pageant’s new sponsors all the very best for the future,” said Mr. Keogh.

“Now, the time has come for a new partner to enjoy this honoured and very exciting role of helping deliver this wonderful event from 2019,” said Hitaf Rasheed.

The four credit unions reaffirmed their commitment to supporting local communities in South Australia and beyond.

“Being customer-owned means we are always focused on our members and we will all continue to support our numerous community activities and events – small and large – across South Australia and around the nation in the communities where we operate,” said Mr. Keogh.

The 2018 Credit Union Christmas Pageant will be held on Saturday 10 November 2018.
