Due to the number of people who make their way into Adelaide for Pageant day, we suggest taking advantage of the additional bus, train and tram services that are offered by Adelaide Metro on Pageant day.
Tram services do not operate within the city during the Pageant.
The tram service from Glenelg terminates at South Terrace, and the tram service from the Adelaide Entertainment Centre terminates at Adelaide Railway Station.
You can walk (or hop, skip and jump!) the rest of the way to your chosen viewing area.
Many normal bus routes detour around the city on Pageant day.
Information about detours and service interruptions will appear on the Adelaide Metro website leading up to Pageant Day.
If you travel with a pram or stroller, it’s appreciated if you could fold it down prior to boarding for the safety and convenience of all passengers.
Please remember that all undercover public transport waiting areas are smoke-free.
