Every year brand new floats, large and small, are made in Stardust Castle and added to the parade. Every two years, with thanks to the credit unions we invite the children of South Australia to get involved in a fantastic competition to design a mini-float, with the winning design especially built for the pageant.
 
2013 is a competition year – join in the fun and let’s see if we can beat the 343 imaginative entries received in 2011!

You or your school could see your design alongside those of past winners; Naughty or Nice Meter (Sharni Tansell, Woodside Primary School, 2011), Rodney the Red Bi-Plane (Owen Area School, 2009) and Cupcake Christmas (St Johns Grammar School, 2007).
