The Monster Family

The Monster Family has been a part of the Christmas Pageant since their good friend - and big pink Pageant favourite Bruto (designed by David Blight) - introduced them to the event in 2003.

When they first arrived at the Credit Union Christmas Pageant, they looked for a place to sit, but couldn't find anywhere because they were so big. They ended up just walking along with the parade. They enjoyed themselves soooo much and became so popular with the crowds that The Monster Family keep coming back to the Credit Union Christmas Pageant every year.

Designed by Nick McKenzie, the Monster Family consists of Zorg and Zilma, and their growing children Zabella and Baxter. Zorg is a gentle yellow giant, who loves his family, and this is what the Credit Union Christmas Pageant is all about, families of all kinds.

 

His wife, Zilma, is aqua blue, and has to be the most attractive and trendy three-eyed monster in the world. This young mum has a modern hairstyle, and is very fashion conscious, always wearing the latest trends from their home planet.

Zabella is also known as Bella, because she is beautiful, and full of life. Bella is a pink monster, with pigtails, and a tuft of aqua blue hair.

Baxter, the youngest member of the monster family is a little rascal! He has a bad habit of poking out his tongue to the Credit Union Christmas Pageant crowd. This little aqua blue monster is now out of his pram, and goes to the Modern Monster Primary School with his sister Zabella.
